HUAYUAN has completed a custom S425 mobile stage semi-trailer for a customer in Uganda. The vehicle features a customer-selected yellow exterior and is equipped with an approximately 83 m² stage platform, an approximately 20 m² LED display, stage lighting and a sound system.
From its folded transport configuration to the fully deployed stage, the S425 brings live performance space, LED visual presentation, stage lighting and sound reinforcement together in one semi-trailer. After completing the vehicle and equipment installation, HUAYUAN carried out a full stage setup to check the assembled structures and equipment configuration.
The S425 features a yellow exterior selected by the customer. Its overall configuration brings together the stage platform, roof structure, LED display, lighting and sound equipment to meet the requirements of the project.
In transport configuration, the vehicle measures approximately 10 m long, 2.5 m wide and 4 m high. Once deployed, the stage measures 9.7 × 8.58 m, providing approximately 83 m² of performance space. The height from the ground to the roof is 6.15 m.
Unlike a mobile stage that provides only a performance platform, this S425 also includes an approximately 20 m² LED display, stage lighting and a sound system. The combination supports live performances, video playback, visual presentations and sound reinforcement.
This S425 is equipped with an LED display measuring 6.4 m wide and 3.2 m high, with an approximate display area of 20 m².
Positioned behind the performance area, the LED screen forms part of the overall stage arrangement, together with the stage platform, roof and lighting system. It can display videos, promotional graphics and other visual content alongside live performances and event activities.
For events that require both a performance area and large-format visual presentation, this configuration combines the stage and LED display within one mobile platform, rather than requiring them to be planned as two separate installations.
The S425 uses a hydraulic system to operate the main stage structures, including the deployment and lifting of the roof and stage platform.
After the semi-trailer has been positioned at the event site, the operator uses a remote control to operate the relevant hydraulic functions and deploy the main structures.
However, hydraulic operation is only one part of the complete setup process. Once the main structures are deployed, additional work is required to prepare the stage for use. This includes the manual installation of access stairs, guardrails, trusses, stage curtains and the arrangement of lighting and sound equipment.
For this S425 project, HUAYUAN carried out a complete stage setup and documented the process, from the folded vehicle configuration and roof opening to the deployment of the stage platform and the installation of the trusses and supporting equipment.

In addition to the LED display, the S425 is equipped with stage lighting and sound equipment.
The roof and truss structures provide mounting positions for the stage lights, creating the lighting arrangement for performances. The sound equipment is positioned at the sides of the stage and in other designated locations to support audio playback and sound reinforcement.
Each system serves a different purpose:
LED Display: Presents videos, promotional content and other visual material.
Stage Lighting: Provides illumination and lighting effects for performers and stage activities.
Sound System: Supports audio playback and sound reinforcement.
Stage Platform: Provides space for performances, presentations and event equipment.
During the complete setup, HUAYUAN also installed and arranged these systems to form the finished stage configuration, with both daytime and nighttime presentation in mind.
The S425 provides a stage platform measuring 9.7 × 8.58 m when fully deployed, with an approximate area of 83 m². The spacious platform allows organizers to arrange performance areas, presentation spaces and supporting equipment according to the needs of each event.
Combined with the approximately 20 m² LED display, stage lighting and sound system, this mobile stage can be used for a range of outdoor activities, including:

For this S425 project, the configuration was based on the customer's requirements, from the selected exterior color to the stage dimensions, LED display and lighting and sound equipment. After manufacturing and equipment installation, the complete stage was assembled to check the configuration and condition of the main structures and equipment.
